Environmental Policy

Society and Sustainability Working in Harmony

Program Description

The beginning of the 21st century has been marked by globalization, technological advancements, and a worsening climate crisis. Whether you want to protect what’s around the corner or around the world, this is your opportunity to push the boundaries designing and implementing policy that can impact both boardrooms and grassroots initiatives.

Our M.A. in Environmental Policy (EP) will equip you with the foundational knowledge of current legal and political structures and prepare you to supervise, regulate, manage, and subsidize procedures that guide society towards a more environmentally healthy and sustainable future.

You may choose to receive certification in one of these areas of concentration:

  • Environmental Health
  • Environmental Justice
  • Environmental Law and Policy
  • Sustainable Development
  • Urban Environmental Policy and Planning

Students typically earn an M.A. in 1 - 2 years and complete a master’s thesis or a semester-long internship.
